Update from Community Engagement
We will meet once every two weeks and when events come up, we will meet once a week.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, 29th of October, 5:30pm at Huntsman GSR Rm 366
Our committee is currently planning….
Movie Night: A tentative idea – BYO international food with an international-theme movie such as Crash, Babel, or something else.
American Sports Event: A gathering once in a while to watch an American sport together – most likely a Phillies game!
Committee dinner: There will be an AIS US Engagement Committee Dinner this Friday, after our committee meeting at 4:30pm. The location will be announced soon!
Community Service event: Every year, the AIS US Engagement Committee does a community service event for some local elementary/middle school students. We are looking for a different school to help out this year, and this event will most likely take place in November.
BYO event: US engagement committee has been assigned the task of organizing BYO events for the AIS as a whole. Continue reading
