This committee has been renamed and reformatted, and after a merger with the ISO committee it is now the International Mentorship and Orientation Committee.
The International Mentor Program aims to help the transition of incoming freshman into Penn. We pair incoming international freshman with upperclassmen in order to help answer all their questions and worries. Throughout this year, we will plan various events to bring together international freshman and to encourage mentor-mentee bonding. In the past, ice-skating, restaurant nights and much more has been organized. This year we hope to continue this tradition. Highlights include a freshman picnic, ‘Dinner with 8 Strangers’, and a Philly-wide scavenger hunt. We’re excited for an amazing year ahead!
