This semester, the main project of the Advocacy Committee is the Student Ambassador Program (SAP). The Program is organised in coordination with the Admissions Office, and it’s aim is to increase the awareness of Penn in local schools all over the world. We will train ambassadors to go back home and help their others who are less informed about the college application process. Armed with our detailed student-written International Student’s Guide to Admissions, our Ambassadors will make a difference.
We held the info sessions for the program in late March, and our training sessions will be held in April. The first stage of the program is likely to be implemented in the summer of 2010.
